Boogie Box is the first complete workout to incorporate cardio, toning, sculpting, core balance and strength training all in one by utilizing the principal of “Applied Muscle Resistance “. Many dancers will never use dumbbells, barbells or machinery to hone their bodies because it bulks them up and limits their movement. Yet, they have great physiques and body control that many of us can only wish for, not to mention their six-pack abs and tight butt. They achieve this by using their own body weight to apply muscle resistance though the execution of each movement (compressions, oppositions, resistance, extensions, etc.).
Boogie Box is truly NOT FOR THE WEAK! This workout is a high intensity fusion of hip hop & Latin dancing, mixed with kickboxing, plyometric exercises and military drills choreographed in intervals in order to really burn off those calories! By using applied muscle resistance and exaggerated, overemphasized dance movements that don’t keep you confined in a repetitive lateral workout, you are able to continually push your body further and avoid those dreaded plateaus.
